I have spent more than ten years building people functions in organizations that were moving too fast for their own good — scaling across continents, navigating acquisitions, managing teams spread across multiple time zones with no playbook and no safety net. What I learned from all of it is that the difference between a company that scales well and one that breaks under its own growth almost always comes down to one thing: whether the people infrastructure was built before it was needed.

What I learned is that the companies that scale successfully are not the ones with the most talent. They are the ones who build the right systems around their people before they need them. And the companies that struggle — the ones where culture erodes, turnover spikes, and managers are left without support — are almost always the ones that waited.

I started Loomify People & Culture because I do not want growing companies to have to learn that lesson the hard way.
